Vortex Corrections in Antiferromagnetic Spin Fluctuation Theories.
The issue of the vertex corrections in the spin-fermion model for cuprates has attracted a substantial interest over the last few years. The fully renormalized spin-fermion vertex, g full appears as the overall factor in the effective pairing interaction mediated by spin fluctuations: G(q ,v) 5g full 2 x(q ,v) where x(q ,v) is the dynamical spin susceptibility, and q and v are transferred momen...
متن کاملO ct 1 99 6 Vertex corrections in antiferromagnetic spin fluctuation theories
We calculate the first vertex correction δΛ k to the bare vertex Λ • in the nearly antiferromagnetic spin fluctuation Fermi liquid theory of the cuprate superconductor YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7. It is calculated for k on the Fermi surface, and Q = (± π a , ± π a). We find that the dimensionless ratio |δΛ k |/Λ • , which parametrizes the vertex correction, is not small. It is a maximum for k = k h , where ...
متن کاملRole of vertex corrections in the spin-fluctuation mediated pairing mechanism
– We study numerically and partly diagrammatically the renormalization of the electron-spin interaction or vertex in a two-dimensional one-band Hubbard model with spinfluctuation momentum transfer q = (π, π). We find that the renormalized electron-spin vertex decreases quite generally with decreasing temperature at all doping densities. As a combination of two concurring effects, i.e. the decre...
متن کاملField Theories of Frustrated Antiferromagnetic Spin Chains
We study the Heisenberg antiferromagnetic chain with both dimerization and frustration. The classical ground state has three phases: a Neel phase, a spiral phase and a colinear phase. In each phase, we discuss a non-linear sigma model field theory governing the low energy excitations. We study the theory in the spiral phase in detail using the renormalization group. The field theory, based on a...
متن کاملAntiferromagnetic spin fluctuations in CeRhSn
We have carried out Sn nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements on the quasi-Kagomé compound CeRhSn. We found that Sn Knight shift sKd is highly anisotropic and shows Curie-Weiss type temperature sTd dependence above 25 K. In this T range, the NMR relaxation rate shows s1/T1d~ÎT and is enhanced by magnetic fluctuations. At low T’s, K stays constant and the enhanced Korringa relation of sT1...
